Flexible approach

MB HR Support recognises that different businesses have different requirements. Smaller businesses may prefer ad-hoc services when needed, whereas larger organisations are likely to benefit from a few hours or days a month on a retained service, depending on your size.

If you’re unsure how often you will need expert HR support, I will help you work out whether to opt for a period of hours or days per month, or suggest that you use MB HR Support on an ad-hoc basis.

There are also off-the-shelf HR documentation bundles created specifically for small businesses, together with implementation guidance, called HR Bundles.

  • Choose Block of Time

    This option is useful for when you need occasional advice that can be provided over the phone or by email, such as contract queries, or advice on standard letters of employment.

  • Choose Pay As You Go

    An ideal choice for when you have one-off ad-hoc projects, such as for recruitment programmes, the creation of staff handbooks, policies, or management training. PAYG can be done either on your premises or remotely, depending on your requirements.

  • Choose Retained Services

    This most cost-effective option buys you a number of hours or days every month, and is ideal for outsourcing some or all of your HR functions. For instance, carrying out absence management, implementing a staff benefits programme, recruitment, training, or documentation checking. This option can be undertaken either on- or off-site.
